
The shroud was rolled from aluminium sheet and welded to a machined hub, with each internal vane set and jigged to the drawing angle before welding. TIG was chosen throughout for penetration control on the thin sections and a clean cosmetic finish.
Weld distortion was managed by alternating the vane sequence, and the finished housing was checked against the drawing before despatch. One-offs like this are routine work for us — no minimum batch.
