Fan Impeller Housing

A one-off aluminium impeller — rolled, TIG-welded and set to drawing for an industrial extraction system.

Aluminium fan impeller fabricated and TIG welded at CDK Services Wakefield

The shroud was rolled from aluminium sheet and welded to a machined hub, with each internal vane set and jigged to the drawing angle before welding. TIG was chosen throughout for penetration control on the thin sections and a clean cosmetic finish.

Weld distortion was managed by alternating the vane sequence, and the finished housing was checked against the drawing before despatch. One-offs like this are routine work for us — no minimum batch.
